Canon T7i Advantages:

  • Megapixels –  6.2 more megapixels. For printing big and cropping, the Canon T7i is a much better choice.
  • Body Image Stabilization – The Canon T7i has built-in body stabilization for photos and videos, which is an excellent feature for traveling and shooting in low light.
  • ISO – 51,200 vs 25,600. Higher maximum ISO sensitivity.
  • AF Points – 45 vs 9.
  • Cross-type AF Points – 45 vs 9. Cross-type AF Points are much more accurate and faster in low light.
  • Continuous mode – 6fps vs 5fps. It’s an advantage, but not something you will really notice that often.
  • JPEG Buffer Size – Unlimited vs 15. Useful for long bursts.
  • RAW Buffer Size – 27 vs 6.
  • Time-Lapse
  • Built-in Wi-Fi
  • Built-in NFC
  • Bluetooth Support
  • Battery Life – 600 shots vs 440 shots.

The T7i is a lot newer hence the better features. It’s got 6 more megapixels, built-in video stabilization, way better AF system with all cross-type points, better buffer sizes and built-in Wi-Fi. It’s more expensive, but worth every dollar if you want a good mid-range DSLR (whether you’re new to used to DSLR cameras).
