Canon LP-E17 Battery – An extra battery is always helpful, especially if you plan on traveling or photographing longer events (weddings, parties, concerts).

You shouldn’t get the cheapest tripod because they’re usually aimed at lighter cameras like a point and shoot. In the end, you risk damaging your camera. This is one of those items where buying something slightly more expensive (and $50 is nothing for a tripod) is better than buying multiple cheaper items in the long run, because they can and will break fairly quickly.
