It’s rumored that the smallest DSLR on the market, the Canon Rebel SL1, is about to get replaced by the SL2/150D as early as August or September in 2015.
Rumored specifications:
- 24.2MP CMOS Sensor
- 19 AF Points
- 4.5fps
- 1080/30p Video
- Hybrid CMOS AF III Focusing System
- Fixed 3.0″ LCD Touchscreen
- Wi-Fi & NFC
Whether Canon will stick to an optical viewfinder or an electronic one is still unknown, but the latter could make this DSLR even smaller! Specifications seem quite good a smaller version of the T6i/T6s cameras, and the price will probably be similar to the SL1 when it was released.
Expect to see more in the following months.
